TIGERS FLY AT HAILEYBURY

Went to the Haileybury Military Tournament today which was a triumph. 3 hours action packed with differing participants, bands, guns, horses and motor bikes. One of the highlights was a drop by the Flying Tigers and here they are with a young recruit and an old sceptic. Met a young sapper who was injured in Afghanistan and wants to do a free fall jump with the Tigers. I told him we might be able to help him if he wants.

WEDDINGS

Fancy that! Kate Moss got married in this church this afternoon and I missed it! Its next door to where we live and I had no idea; talk about not being in touch. Although not involved in Mosstock I am getting ready for our daughters wedding next Saturday which will be much more interesting so there will be a brief silence from me now.  Now I wonder if Baxterbear will be at the wedding?

TOWER PATTER

We have taken a number of our Regional and National staff on a history lesson at the Tower of London. Here we are harangued by a real patter merchant (ex Life Guards so not surprising) who kept his large crowd with all the gory details of the many executions including that of the Duke of Monmouth who needed 6 blows of the axe before his head came off. Luvley stuff!!

Mr STITCH IS BETTER

Here is Mr Stitch looking a bit better and I am glad to say that he is virtually sound (that means he doesnt limp).  I have been asked by several fans of Mr S so I thought I had better allay their  fears  that he might not do the Reivers Ride.  I have explained to him what a blog was and he said he thought he might do one himself on the ride.  Ah! competition eh?  

ANOTHER REIVER

This is Patience who is joining us on the Reivers Ride. She looks rather fierce in her helmet. As she is the only lady amongst 5 men she may have to live up to her name!!

Mr STITCH NOT HAPPY

Mr Stitch has been lame for a few days which has made him rather bad tempered as he likes being out and about. He has a bit of wear and tear in his off fore fetlock (for the unhorsy types that's his right ankle). Anyway we have a plan and let's hope it works but its a bt worrying as having seen the state of people after 54 miles I don't want to walk 150!! Anyway here is Mr S with Melissa who looks after him when I can't. Keep fingers crossed.
