Went this evening to a party held by Row 2 Recovery to thank their sponsors. They are rowing from the Canaries to Barbados, a distance of over 3000 miles. Its a team of 6 including Ed Janvrin, Alex Mackenzie and Neil Heritage. All spoke about the row which starts in about 9 weeks time. Neil was one of our early beneficiaries from Iraq, a double amputee, one of the early ones in 2004 who I remember visiting in Headley Court in 2005. This was the view we had on a lovely evening overlooking London Bridge and the "Shard", an amazingly bold building.
